Assessing the Implementation of Decentralized Management System: Babre Tabor Municipality Administration in Focus

This study addressed the efforts exerted on implementation of decentralization management system employed a few years ago in governmental institution. More specifically, this attempted to assess perceptions employees hold about package, their decision-making practices and correlations among participants’ perception, provision resources. To end, one hundred fifty employees, Debre Tabore Municipality administrative, Amhara regional state, were selected mix systematic stratified sampling technique. Likert scale frequency count itemized questionnaire administered forty-eight sheets returned filled in. The major findings showed that participants had reasonable level awareness positive roles decentralization, considerable some degree perceived provisions resources or support. Besides, there seemed have relationships municipality input practice decision making. small but perceptions. A mere variations responses also seen due background differences gender, position work experiences.
